We're back for the Spring Edition of Miller's Mission broadcasting and living at the Nampa Walmart on Garrity and Franklin.  Here's a quick list of must needed items that will make a big difference in the lives of Treasure Valley Families this Summer.Summertime is a challenge for rescue families, according to the Reverend Bill Roscoe, the chief executive officer of the Boise Rescue Mission.  "The numbers of people staying at the Mission are just as high in the Summer as the Winter, but income drops substantially."

The amount of women and children seeking shelter rise significantly says Roscoe.  The Boise Rescue Mission relies on local donations to fund their operations.  The Mission does not accept any federal or state government funding.

Here's a top ten list of items needed by the Mission this Summer:

1. Sunscreen

2. Bug spray

3. Children's Clothing ages 12 years and up.

4. Twin sheets and pillowcases.

5. Allergy medicine for children.

6. Baby wipes

7. Non-perishable food

8. Towels

9. Bleach and laundry soap.

10. Bath soap.

The impact your donation on our folks is immeasurable, says Roscoe.  Make a difference in Nampa or by donating here.
