What’s Next for Raul?
It's been over a month since we've heard from anyone running for office, why not figure out what's next for Idaho's Conservative Congressman Raul Labrador.
Politico recently profiled the congressman in an article titled 'This is a Place that just sucks your soul.' The writers go over Labrador's accomplishments while being a lightning rod for conservatives across the country. Several listeners to KIDO Talk Radio have speculated that President Trump will appoint the congressman to a judgeship somewhere in the country.
Politics is a strange place. One minute you have a staff and everyone wants to hear what you have to say, and the next, you're looking for a new gig. We'll have to wait and see if the president has something in mind for Mr. Labrador.
What some are missing is that Idaho still needs Raul Labrador. Many see the Raul returning home and making a difference in the Gem State. (Unlike most politicians, the congressman isn't enamored with Washington. He missed his family and friends in Idaho.) Mr. Labrador could build a new conservative group that would reflect his traditional values.
The group would champion voices that have long been ignored by government officials. And if the Mr. Labrador wanted to run for Senate in two years or take another shot at the governorship in four, they would be ready, and they'd have his back.
