1 Million Dollar Potato Photo?

Believe it or not, a picture of a potato has sold for over 1 million dollars.  Yes, it's a true story.  According to multiple published reports, the unknown businessman was so taken with potato #345 that he bought the photo while drinking wine at the home of a famous Irish Photographer.

Straitstimes reports that was dining at the Paris home of Irish celebrity photographer Kevin Abosch.  This is the biggest sale of Mr. Abosch's career, he explained to Straitstimes his sensitivity to the potato, "Generally, the life of a harvested potato is violent and taken for granted. I use the potato as a proxy for the ontological study of the human experience."  No word on whether the potato was from Idaho.
