Where did the Summer go?  Wasn't it just last week that the kids were finishing up their final exams of the year?  Didn't we just survive the seemingly endless graduations from pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle, high school and college?Time and the Summer seems to fly when your having fun.  Treasure Valley Fall sports have begun their practices, which means that school will be starting in the next few weeks.  So how do you keep your kids safe while they're away from home?

Consumers are buying bulletproof backpacks at a rate of a 300% spike in sales The two recent mass shooting incidents here in the U.S. seem to be impacting the sales of bulletproof backpacks as well as the tools for bulletproofing them.

According to an Austin, Texas-based store that sells bulletproof backpack inserts, Ready To Go Survival has seen more than a 300% increase in sales this week alone. The company has reportedly received hundreds of phone calls from parents asking which product would offer the most protection.

Locally gun stores in the Treasure Valley have begun to stock bullet proof backpacks so they'll be available to parents who would like to buy them for their kids.
