Kevin Miller begins the program by quickly updating the audience on the latest overnight news.  Kevin Miller reviews the state of the city speech by Boise Mayor Dave Bieter.  The mayor told the folks at the Egyptian Theater that he wants folks to carpool more and use scooters.  He says that traffic is a major concern that could impact the quality of life in the Treasure Valley.

Kevin Miller shares the story of an embarrassing situation involving the prime minister of Canada.   Justin Trudeau is in some serious hot water over revealed pictures of him in racist makeup earlier in his life.   Oh it's not over, Kevin Miller shares that Trudeau has apologized for the brownface picture that surfaced on Wednesday, a video of Trudeau in blackface surfaced on Thursday morning.  Wednesday evening, Trudeau told reporters, "I should have known better then, but I didn’t, and I am deeply sorry for it. I’m going to ask Canadians to forgive me for what I did. I shouldn’t have done that. I take responsibility for it. It was a dumb thing to do." He also admitted to wearing blackface in high school. The latest video is now the third instance of Trudeau doing this.
