So the Feds Just Banned a Christmas Decoration in Idaho & California?
The Christmas season is upon us, and most of us have already taken out the Christmas trees, selected wreaths, and our beloved Christmas lights. However, a recently passed federal ban we reported on in August could negatively impact your Christmas spirit.
You don't have to read national publications or be a news junkie to remember the Biden Administration's new dictate eliminating a specific type of household item that has been in American homes for over a hundred years.
Remember, the ban on incandescent lightbulbs took place in August. Advocates who want you to eliminate gas-powered cars and airplanes say that LED lights will last longer and reduce carbon emissions.
Americans are now paying more for the government-mandated LED light bulbs. Although Christmas lights, both inside and outside, last for many years. If you're using incandescent lights, light bulbs, or light displays, you're violating President Biden's lightbulb ban or dictate.
With another possible government shutdown, two wars, and an upcoming presidential election, we seriously doubt that the feds will come knocking on your door. However, if you live in Boise, you might be concerned.
The federal ban on incandescent lights covers every state. California, unlike Idaho, has embraced the green climate agenda. The state mandates a move to electric vehicles, seeking to eliminate all gas-powered cars, trucks, motorcycles, and anything else requiring an engine.
If you live in California, don't be surprised if your climate activist neighbors turn you in and you get a knock on the door from Governor Newsom.
Christmas decorations are cherished and should be used to welcome the Christmas season. Let's hope the federal government doesn't take extreme measures to enforce its environmental ban. It is Christmas, after all.
