In what should've been a defining week for liberal Democrats over President Trump, this week has been nothing but a series of embarrassing disasters. The week started with the expectation that the Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee would hold extensive television hearings that would convince the American public that the president should be impeached. Instead, the Congressional hearings resembled a fight that breaks out during a hockey game. The Speaker hastily made a statement that she would back impeachment of President Trump. If all had gone according to plan, the echo chamber known as the national media would have picked up the ball, and Americans would be inundated with nonstop Trump must go coverage.

However, two events Thursday derailed their best-laid plans. Both involving the behavior of two of the country's top Democrats. The first involved James Rosen of Sinclair media. The incident happened as Pelosi was leaving her weekly press conference on Capitol Hill.

Rosen asked, "Do you hate the president, Madam Speaker?" Pelosi abruptly stopped, whirled around and pointed an accusing finger at Rosen, barking, "I don't hate anybody!" She went on to say she was raised in a Catholic household where she was taught not to hate, concluding with, "So don't accuse me of that!"

When Rosen explained he was following up on remarks by Representative Doug Collins, who said Democrats "don't like the guy," Pelosi returned to the podium and outlined the president's policies she doesn't agree with. She then circled the conversation back around, saying, "I don't hate anyone. I pray for the president all the time. So don't mess with me when it comes to words like that!" If you think that's bad, at least she's not Joe Biden. This week viewers were treated to Biden unleashed. First, there was the squirmish video of Biden describing his hairy legs and enjoying kids sitting on his lap. Here's the video.

Thursday, Biden lost his cool when an Iowa farmer said he was too old and questioned him about his son.  Biden responded by challenging the voter to a pushup contest and calling the him a liar. Creepy, angry Joe is not a way to win the hearts and minds of voters across the country. You can see the exchange here.
